JCH&L partners with Blue Valley Community Action's Immunization program. The Fairbury clinic is held at the JCH&L North Building, 825 22nd St., Fairbury. Appointments are required by calling 402-826-2141 (English) or 402-641-1799 (Spanish.)
The Vaccine For Children (VFC) program is funded by DHHS State of Nebraska. Vaccines are offered to children 2 months to 18 years who are not insured, underinsured, are on Medicaid, or are Alaskan or Native American at no charge.
The private program includes commercial insurances.

Aneducational session to help those who are considering Medicare in the next yearis being offered by Jefferson Community Health & Life on Wednesday, July 16.The educational session will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the JCH&L ClinicConference Room and a light supper will be provided. There is no cost toattend.
Medicarecan be a complicated topic. Learn about the basics of Medicare and what youneed to consider when you are approaching Medicare eligibility or are new toMedicare. The “Welcome to Medicare” program will provide comprehensiveinformation about Medicare including: What does Medicare cost? What doesMedicare cover? When should I enroll in Medicare? What rules do I need to know?What is the difference between Medicare and Medicare Advantage? When are theimportant deadlines?
Presenterswill be Deb Sutton, RN, and Lori Ohlde, RN. Both are certified counselors inthe Nebraska SHIP program.
