Cosmetic injections
Cosmetic neurotoxin injections can relax targeted facial and neck muscles that contribute to expression lines, wrinkles, or certain types of facial discomfort. Areas most frequently treated include the eye area, forehead, and lips.
Dermal fillers can help smooth facial folds and wrinkles, add volume to the lips, and contour facial features that have lost fullness due to aging, sun exposure, illness, or other factors. Results may be noticeable right away.
Cosmetic injections and dermal fillers to reduce wrinkles and lines are typically not covered by insurance. For cosmetic injections, payment is required the day of treatment. JCH&L offers a free consultation for cosmetic services and a Cosmetic Neurotoxin Loyalty Card program.
Therapeutic aesthetics (medical)
Some insurance plans may cover therapeutic neurotoxin injections for certain medical conditions, including:
- TMJ dysfunction
- Bruxism (teeth grinding)
- Types of orofacial pain, including headaches and migraines
- Excessive sweating
