Jefferson Community Health & Life Burkley Fitness Center

The Jefferson Community Health & Life Burkley Fitness Center, which opened in 1996, offers a full range of fitness facilities and classes. The fitness center is open to the public on a membership or daily fee basis. The Fit for Life newsletter is published monthly by the fitness center and mailed to members. Events

Saturday, Sept. 7
1 mile and 5K run/walk
*Finish medals for everyone 12 and under in the 1 mile
*Awards for top 3 males and top 3 females in the 5K
Pre-register by Aug. 30 (walk-in entries accepted day of the event)

Entry fee: $15 per person ($10 discount for a family of 3 or more participants)

    • Corporate Family Memberships require a minimum of five memberships and business entity payment.
    • Sterling Connection members qualify for a Sterling Connection rate with verification of membership.

    • Guest Rates:

      • $7 day pass includes all benefits of membership for the day, including classes
      • $25 six-visit punch card
      • Guests are required to register each use of the facility

    • Student Rates:

      • Available to high school students age 14-18
      • Available to college students age 18-24 with evidence of full –time enrollment status

    • 3 Month Rates:

      • $150 single
      • $185 family
      • $100 student
      • All three-month memberships must be paid in full.

    Additional Fees

    Swimming Lessons

    Private:

    • $12 members/non-members per lesson
    • $90 members/non-members for eight lessons

    Group:

    • $50 members/non-members per *session

    Non-members are not required to purchase a guest pass in addition to class fee.

    *Sessions = 8 swimming lessons

    Locker Rentals

    • $75/year
    • $7.50/month

    Personal Training Sessions

    • $200 for a 4-week class for members; $240 for non-members
    • 4-week package includes 2 sessions per week (8 sessions total)
    • No obligation free assessment offered for student athletes

    Group Facility Rental

    Regular Hours:

    • $50/hour
    • Limited to 50 people per hour
    • Fitness equipment and weights are off limits

    After Hours:

    • $70/hour
    • Subject to availability and staffing

    Regular and after hours facility rentals require prearrangement.

    • A one lump sum pre-payment
    • Contains a freezing privilege

    Bank Draft

    • 12 month obligation
    • Does not automatically cease at the end of 12 months
    • Subject to early withdrawal penalty
