Rick Blatny Jr., MD, has accepted a position to rejoin Jefferson Community Health & Life as a family medicine physician. Dr. Blatny Jr. will care for patients in the Fairbury Clinic, JCH&L emergency room, and hospital. Details of his start date have not been finalized.

Dr. Blatny Jr. is a Fairbury native and practiced at the Fairbury Clinic PC and Jefferson Community Health & Life from 2001 to 2021. He has most recently been practicing at Thayer County Health Services in Hebron.

He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska School of Medicine and completed his family practice residency at the Utah Valley Family Practice in Provo, Utah.
