Stroklund Appointed to State Trauma Board

Rebecca Stroklund, D.O., has been appointed to the Nebraska Statewide Trauma Advisory Board.

Dr. Stroklund will serve a three-year term as the State Trauma Physician Practicing in Emergency Medicine in Rural Level 3 or 4. The appointment is effective through Aug. 28, 2028. JCH&L was recently designated a Level IV Basic Trauma Center. Dr. Stroklund has been part of the JCH&L medical staff since 2021.

The Statewide Trauma Advisory Board consists of 28 members that are appointed by the Director of Public Health.  The Statewide Trauma system is broken down into four regions with each region having a standing committee as part of the Statewide Trauma Advisory Board.  This Board advises the department on the trauma needs and on trauma regulations and statutes.
