Medicare Advantage Educational Session Offered
Jefferson Community Health & Life will hold a free educational session on Thursday, Oct. 29, at 5:30 p.m. to help those whose Medicare Advantage plans will not be continued after 2026. SHIP trained counselors Deb Sutton and Lori Miller will lead a session focused on options for current Medicare Advantage members whose plans are ending.
There are three companies and 16 plans that will be not be offered in Jefferson County next year, Sutton said. The educational session will help those who are affected learn steps to returning to traditional Medicare or find a new Medicare Advantage plan.
SHIP counselors offer objective information. There is no cost or obligation to attend.
The informational session will include a free light supper. It will be held in the JCH&L Large Conference Room.
Please RSVP to Lana at 402-729-6855.
