Do you want to quit tobacco and wonder where to start?
It is not easy to quit using tobacco, but it is the best thing you can do for your health. Jefferson Community Health and Life is offering two free tobacco cessation interactive presentations: Thursday, July 16, from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. or Sunday, Aug. 23, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Each presentation will be held in the JCH&L Clinic Conference Room, 2200 H St., Fairbury.
Learn what research shows about the most successful ways to quit smoking. Everyone who attends a presentation will be entered into a drawing to win a helpful smoking cessation tool.
The interactive presentation will be offered by Missy Klasek, RN, Tobacco Treatment Specialist. The session is free and there is no obligation. No reservations are needed. Anyone interested is invited to come and learn.
