Change in Dr. Akbar’s Availability

Dr. Syed Akbar will no longer be providing regular clinic appointments at JCH&L Fairbury Clinic due to changes in his family circumstances. He will stay on as a
PRN (as-needed) Emergency provider.

Patients who chose Dr. Akbar as their primary care provider are being notified by letter, and will be able to choose another primary care provider.

With the recent addition of Dr. Rick Blatny, JCH&L Fairbury Clinic has 3 full-time family medicine physicians, 3 full-time Nurse Practitioners, and 2 full-time Physician Assistants ready to care for clinic patients. Same-day appointments are typically available and walk-ins are accommodated whenever possible.
